By accessing or using Isokan African ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Isokan African.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Each account is limited to one active device session at a time. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform. By posting content, you grant Isokan African a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform. You agree not to:
Isokan African is dedicated to celebrating African culture and fostering positive connections. Users must respect cultural diversity, engage in constructive dialogue, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Content promoting hate speech, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.
Users may create Pages for business, community, or organizational purposes. Page owners are responsible for the content posted on their Pages. Isokan African reserves the right to remove Pages that violate these terms. Monetization features are subject to additional eligibility requirements and verification.
The Platform may offer virtual currency ("Coins") for use within the Platform. Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash unless through approved creator monetization programs. Isokan African reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Coins system at any time.
Eligible creators may participate in monetization programs subject to meeting specific thresholds and verification requirements. Payouts are processed according to our payout schedule and are subject to applicable taxes. Isokan African reserves the right to withhold payouts in cases of suspected fraud or terms violations.
The Marketplace feature allows users to list items for sale. Isokan African is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers and bears no responsibility for the quality, safety, or legality of listed items. Users engage in marketplace transactions at their own risk.
The Platform, including its design, logos, trademarks, and software, is the property of Isokan African and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
Isokan African reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, including but not limited to repeated community guideline violations, fraudulent activity, or upon accumulation of user reports exceeding our threshold. You may appeal account suspensions through our ban appeal process.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Your use of the Platform is at your sole risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Isokan African shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the Platform or via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, unless prohibited by local law.
